Kyle received his Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri and his Master of Music Education degree from Central Methodist University. During his time at MU, he served as principal chair in the Wind Ensemble, Drum Major of Marching Mizzou, and finished as runner-up in the MTNA Young Artist competition at the state level.

Kyle currently is the Assistant Band Director for the Boonville Public Schools, where he teaches instrumental music to students in grades 5-12. Prior to Boonville, he taught K-12 music in Pilot Grove, Missouri. He has served as a Brass Instructor for Columbia’s Rock Bridge High School and has taught low brass lessons to several students in Mid-Missouri.

He also performs with the Columbia Community Band and Sauerkraut Serenaders. He holds professional memberships in the Missouri Bandmasters Association, National Association for Music Education, and the International Tuba Euphonium Association.

Originally, from Eureka, Missouri, Kyle resides in Columbia with his wife, Melanie and daughter, Karis
